A while ago, I was scrolling through the blog SherinaSpeaks and came across an older post of hers. I thought that the concept of interview oneself was pretty interesting because you have the chance to look back at how you’ve answered, days, weeks, years later and reflect. And it’s something that I thought would be a fun and nice little thing to look back on in a few months.
1. What Do You Do For A Living?
You may not know what you’re really doing for a living. You may think you have a job, but you’re actually just selling your time. And that comes down to selling your life. And that means you’re living your life by selling it. And you may not even know that.
2. Do You Think You Are a Good Person?
Sometimes, I think I’m a good person. For the most part, I realize that I’m a wholly flawed individual who has a lot to work on and change in order to be my ideal “good person”. I get jealous very easily. I’m easily upset and whiny, or unnecessarily snarky. I highly doubt that I’m a horrible person, but I can’t empathetically say that I’m a good person either. But I try to be.
3. What’s Your Childhood Dream?
Truthfully, I was never one of those kids that held long-term aspirations. Sometimes, I wanted to travel the world in a converted van and live a Bonnie & Clyde lifestyle with someone dear to me. Sometimes I wanted to travel the world by boat and escape to a foreign country, never to return. Sometimes, I wanted nothing at all.
3. How Often Do You Laugh?
All the time. Life wouldn’t be worth living without laughter.
4. What Makes You Smile?
List at least 10 items.
5. What Was The Most Important Thing You’ve Done So Far?
6. What Was The Most Stupid Thing You’ve Done So Far?
7. What Do You Fear The Most?
8. What Is Your Favorite Word?
Ameliorate. It’s aesthetically pleasing to look at and has a positive definition.
9. Picture Yourself In 5 Years From Now
For now, those are the questions that I’ll answer. But for when I return later down the line, I want myself to answer a few more questions.
